Track an Order

The normal course of shipping is as follows due to which you will receive 2 tracking numbers once you place your order on Aniika:

1. Aniika's India office ships the order to Aniika U.S office in Kearny, New Jersey - For this you are provided with the first a tracking number
2. Aniika U.S ships the order to you - For this you will be provided with the second tracking number

Both numbers along with carrier information will be received via an email notification.

It usually takes about 5 to 7 business days for your order to be shipped out of India. Once it is received at our U.S office it may take up to 4 business days to be shipped to you. This is primarily because we check the product for any damage etc before it is finally sent out to our buyers.

We currently ship to the US and Canada. Stay tuned for our new shipping locations!

 At Aniika.com, our goal is to deliver your purchase in the quickest and most economical way possible. We review each order individually, factoring in actual weight, size and price of items.

For deliveries within the United States

Prices on Aniika include customs duties associated with the product. Therefore, there will no be no additional import duties or taxes levied on the shopper.

Shipping time is approximately 15 business days from when we receive the order. Deliveries are made to the door. An adult (18 years or older) must be present to accept delivery.

Your order will be processed in India within 5 to 7 business days. Once the product leaves India, you will recieve an email with your first  tracking number and link to the freight carrier website allowing you to track your purchases. You will also be able to view these details in the ‘track purchases’ section of your account.
Once the product leaves the U.S office to your shipping address, you will receive your second tracking number for the same.

For deliveries within Canada

Prices on Aniika only include the shipping costs. Duties and taxes are not included in the price of the product.

Aniika is not authorized to collect duties and taxes on your behalf. You will be required to pay the delivery person the duties. For your convenience, we have provided a duties calculator at checkout that will help you estimate the duties. Please note that this is only an estimate and the duties could be well below this amount.

Shoppers have the option of selecting from First class shipping and Priority shipping. First class shipping will take 20-30 business days from the date of the order. Priority shipping will take 10-20 business days from the date of the order.

Delivery
Pre-Order shipping depends on the time it will require for a Designer/Artist to make the piece. Depending on the product category and volume of orders, please note that delivery of your item could take any where from 5 weeks to 8 weeks. Once we receive the order we will communicate the estimated shipping date within 5 business days. The product(s) will be shipped the moment they are available and a tracking number for the same will be sent.
 
Return policy for pre-order
Please note that there is no return for the pre-order products as these are custom made. In case the product is damaged in transit, the Aniika product return policy is applicable.

Returns

Product Returns

All product returns need to be initiated within 5 business days of when the product was delivered to you. ‘Initiated’ means Aniika should receive an email with the reason for return along with return shipping details within the 5 business days.

Once the return has been initiated via email, the products must be reach Aniika unused and in the original packaging within 14 business days of when the product was delivered to you.

Aniika does not pay for shipping of product returns. However, to reduce the cost for the buyer, all products can be returned to a local U.S address.

Upon receipt of the product, Aniika will inspect the product and will issue a refund/site credit for the price of the product minus the shipping costs. In the case where Aniika sends you an incorrect or damaged product, product will be replaced or refund will be provided for the entire amount including shipping costs.

Aniika will reimburse only USPS Parcel post charges. Should the product be returned through any other carrier, Aniika is not liable to reimburse the buyer of shipping charges.

Site credit will be in the form of a unique system generated code and will be applied to your order automatically at the time of the purchase of your next product on Aniika.com. The credit will have no expiry date and is not transferrable.

Please ensure you make arrangements to accept your order on delivery. Should there be no one to accept the delivery, the package is sent to the nearest post office. The package is kept at the post office for 14 regular days and then is sent back to Aniika. Aniika will not provide refund for orders that were not collected.

Order cancellations

All orders can be cancelled with 24 hours of placing the order. Any cancellations post 24 hours will not be accepted.

Buyer FAQs

1. Why do we require a Buyer Account?

As a registered buyer, we save your shipping and billing information so that you don’t have to remember it the next time you want to shop at Aniika.

In addition, Aniika’s feedback system relies on being able to identify both parties involved in every transaction. Your username is the unique identifier that makes this possible.

2. Can I purchase without creating a Buyer Account?

Yes, all buyers have the option of purchasing a product as a guest during the checkout process. Note that creating a buyer account involves 1 simple step – creating your password.

To enable our buyers to leave product reviews for their purchases, we automatically create an account for them once a purchase is completed. Buyers will receive an auto-generated password via email. Together with this password and the username (which is the email address used at the time of checkout), a buyer can track purchases, leave product reviews, etc.

3. I did not create a Buyer Account, but I received an email stating that my account has been created. Why?

To enable our buyers to leave product reviews for their purchases, we automatically create an account for them once a purchase is completed. Buyers will receive an auto-generated password via email. Together with this password and the username (which is the email address used at the time of checkout), a buyer can track purchases, leave product reviews, etc.

4. Is it safe to use my credit card on Aniika? Will Aniika save my credit card information after a purchase?

5. What do you use my personal information for?

We only use your personal information for order processing, shipping and customer service. We do not share, rent or sell your information with any company/individual other than for the above mentioned reasons.

7. Can I cancel an order? How?

Buyers may request for an order to be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order. However, if the product has already been shipped, the order(s) cannot be cancelled.

8. Who do I contact in case I have questions, concerns or complaints about an order transaction?

Anyone who has purchased a product can leave a review for that product.

11. Where can I write a review for the product I have purchased?

Reviews for your purchases can be provided in the ‘product feedback’ section of your member page.

12. How can I edit or delete a previously made review?

You will not be able to edit a review that has been submitted.

13. When can I expect my product to reach me?

Your product will reach you within 15 business days of your order being placed.

14. Can I get a product customized? Who should I contact about that?

You may fill up the contact form provided on the product detail page with the details of the customization required. The request will be forwarded to the designer and they will make the decision whether they will be able to customize their product for you.

15. Can I contact the seller to place a bulk order for a product I like?

You may fill up the contact form provided on the product detail page requesting this information. The request will be forwarded to the seller and they will make the decision whether they will be able to produce their product in bulk quantities for you. Aniika will work with you and the seller on a case-by-case basis to ensure a mutually beneficial deal for everyone.

16. Are the products I order together shipped as a single package?

Not necessarily. Shipping details will be decided on a case-to-case basis to ensure you get your product(s) in the quickest,safest and most economical manner.

17. Can I change my login information?

You will not be able to change your email address. However, you can change all other information including your password in your account. Once you sign into your member page click on the ‘My account info’ tab to edit all your account information.

18. What are my responsibilities as a buyer?

As a buyer on Aniika, you have three main responsibilities when making a purchase:

  - You are required to read our terms and conditions.

  - You must read the shipping and delivery tab on every product page to be notified of our shipping and delivery policy for the product.

  - Read Aniika’s return policy

20. I can’t find a product that I liked last week. How can I find it again?

Many products on Aniika are one of a kind. Almost all are produced in a limited quantity. It is possible that the product you saw got sold out. If you remember the store or the designer, you may contact them via the contact form on their storefront to ask if they intend to or are willing to restock the product in the near future.

21. What is Aniika rating?

Aniika rating is how you can get to know about Aniika’s experience with the seller. It does not reflect on an individual product or design. We rate sellers on their professionalism and their regularity. The criteria are communication, delivery, documentation and product quality. This rating reinforces the fact that a good designer not only focuses on the product but also on the associated customer service.

22. How do I check the status of my orders?

You can check the status of your order by viewing the ‘track purchases’ tab on your member page. You can track the status of individual products in each order.

23. What if an item is out of stock?

We have various systems in place to ensure that a product is listed only if it is in stock. However, there may be times when unexpected demands exceed our supply. If you place an order for an item that is not in stock, we will inform you through an email and credit your credit card within two business days of purchase.

24. Can I ship different items in my order to different shipping addresses?

We can only process one shipping address per order. So, if you would like to order several items and ship to different addresses, please make individual purchases for each shipping address.

25. Will I be charged for customs charges in case of international shipping?

To make your shopping experience as seamless as possible, we have arranged with our shipping carrier to clear your goods for you and deliver them to your doorstep.

For customers shipping to the United States, prices are inclusive of duties and taxes and will not be charged any additional duties or taxes.

For customers shipping into Canada, prices are not inclusive of duties and taxes. Aniika does not collect duties from the customer. A duties calculator has been provided to estimate duties and taxes. Please note this is only an estimate and the duties and taxes could be lower. It is the obligation of the customer to pay the delivery person the required duties and taxes.

26. Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?

Your order may ship as fast as 2 business days from the date we receive it. If you would like to change your shipping address for an order that you have already placed, we will try to accommodate your requests only if we still have the package in our possession. Please contact us on orders@aniika.com or via your member page with your requested change in address and we will send you an email reply to confirm if we were able to make the change.

27. When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged at the time of placing your order through our secured payment gateway.

28. What gift options are available?

During checkout, you will be offered the option of treating your order as a gift. If your order is a gift, you can enclose a gift message upto x characters.

29. Can I ship my order outside the U.S?

We are currently only shipping orders to the United States and Canada. Stay tuned for upcoming shipping destinations.

30. Will my product price change after I place an order due to exchange rate fluctuation?

The rate charged to you is a guaranteed amount and will not change once you accept an order.

31. How do I redeem my site credit?

If you have site credit, it will be applied automatically and can be viewed in the first page of checkout. The credit will have no expiry date and is not transferrable.

6. How can I open a store on Aniika.com?

Once we receive your application, Aniika will review it based on several criteria including uniqueness of the products, story behind the collection, the quality of product pictures, product descriptions etc. You will hear from us on the status of your application via email within 5 business days of us receiving your application.

7. Is stocking of products compulsory with Aniika.com?

All products sold on Aniika.com will have to be stocked with Aniika. Aniika will activate your store, only on receiving the products.

8. What is the cost of opening a store on Aniika.com?

To sell on Aniika.com, currently there is no membership fee and you will be charged only a commission on each sale.

9. What is the difference between an application and a registration process?

The application process is the first stage to becoming a storeowner on Aniika.com. Once the designer/artist/storeowner is approved he/she will register towards opening their store.

10. Can I print out the application form and post it to Aniika’s postal address in Bangalore?

No, you will need to complete the application online via our website.

11. Do I have to fill in the online application all at one go or do I have the option of saving the application and completing it at a later date?

You have the option of saving the application by clicking on the save button at the end of each page. You can return to fill in the application by signing in using your log i.d and password.

12. Aniika is a restricted membership website. What does that mean to a designer/artist/store owner who wants to open a store on Aniika?

By restricting membership, we endeavor to control and thereby maintain the quality of products and designs displayed on our site. We believe this practice will go a long way in enhancing the reputation of Aniika in the global marketplace. Furthermore, Aniika’s exclusivity will reflect on all sellers by association. 13. Do I have to sign a contract/agreement to open an store?

You are not required to sign any binding contract with Aniika that limits your activities. However, you are required to accept Aniika’s terms and conditions at the time of your application. In doing so, you enter into a legal contract with us to uphold our terms and conditions. Simply put, it confirms your commitment to abide by all the rules governing selling through Aniika.

You will be required to send us the price of the product in Indian Rupees (INR).

18. How can designers/artists/store owners determine what type of products will sell in the target market?

At Aniika, our objective is to promote entrepreneurship among designers. Therefore, designers/artists/store owners are encouraged to spend time researching trends to promote and strengthen their Store business on Aniika.

To complement a designer/artist/store owner’s efforts, Aniika will provide access to business, design and marketing information to help them design and retail the right products for the target market.

19. What does it cost to sell on Aniika?

There are no listing fees to sell on Aniika. The three direct costs you will incur to sell on Aniika are:

Fixed commission on the sale of your product

Monthly Membership Fee – As an introductory offer, we will be waiving this fee.

Courier Costs – Transportation of orders to Aniika’s Bangalore office and return of unsold products.

20. How will I make my payments to Aniika?

You can make your payment for membership fee through your account backend via online payment. We have provided the option of EBS payment gateway for secure and fast payment process.

21. What can be the maximum size and weight of the products I sell on Aniika?

All orders must have a actual and volumetric weight of less than 8 kilograms inclusive of packaging.

Volumetric weight is calculated as length (cms) x height (cms) x width (cms) divided by 5000.

22. Do I need an import-export code?

No. You do not need an import-export code to sell through Aniika.

23. Do I have to be a registered company?

You do not have to be a registered company to sell on Aniika. However, you will be required to declare the type of entity you are selling under i.e. whether you are selling as an individual or whether you are selling as a registered company.

24. What is the designer/artist/store owner review system on Aniika?

There is a structured feedback and review mechanism on Aniika. This is a critical feature to ensure that you are in sync with Aniika, your customer and the market. To ensure constructive and comprehensive feedback and review, we have in place a three tier review/rating system.

 a. Aniika reviews your products,

 b. Registered buyers mark out their product and store favorites,

 c. Buyers can provide feedback on products purchased.

25. Once I open my store, how do I keep track of billing and orders on Aniika?

You can keep a track of your orders and billing via your online account on Aniika.com.

26. When do I get my payments after I have sent the products?

You will be paid within 30 days from when the sale is closed. A sale is closed when you receive your dues for the sale of the Product. The payment will be remitted to the bank account you have provided us.

27. How will Aniika make the payment to me? What do I need to have? (e.g. online banking account, etc.)

Aniika will make payments toward all sales proceeds thru ECS (electronic clearance system) i.e. through online transfer to your bank account. For this, it is mandatory that you have a Savings or Current Bank Account with core banking facility with a bank on Aniika’s approved list of banks.

28. What currency will I get paid in?

You will get paid in Indian Rupees (INR).
